Abstract

In this article İbnü'l-Hümâm's views about the prophethood are investigated. Ibn al-Humam lived in period of müteahhirin theologians. He was the Maturidy theologians. This article includes the following topics: Whether Almighty God sending needs to send a prophet or not; can a female be prophet?; numbers and characteristics of the prophets; miraculous properties that are seen in Holy Muhammad.
