Abstract
We live in a global village and we can gain everything easiy. But, at the same time, individualization, uncertainty, insecurity, social disintegration, economic crisis, the growing unemployment among young generation, suicides, violence and aggression are increasing.Violence , aggression and the relationship between religion and violence has turned into global phenomenon after September 11 Attacks , Islam and Muslims have been known even with violence. In this article, related with this phenomenon, the students' attitudes and perceptions who take religious education in Faculty of Theology, have dealt with the sociological perspective based on interwievs which done with them. In this study, nineteen conversations were held with different students by using snowball and focus group discussion technics. During the study, it is trying to be understood that students' attention to violence phenomenon, their perception about the relationship between religion/Islam and violence and their suggestions for solution.While dealing these topics, it is aimed that students, from different ages and different education levels , can evaluate the wrong seen violen
