ІНСТИТУЦІОНАЛЬНЕ ЗАБЕЗПЕЧЕННЯ РОЗВИТКУ ТРАНСПОРТНОЇ ГАЛУЗІ В УМОВАХ ГЛОБАЛІЗАЦІЇ

Objective. The main purpose of this article is to determine the characteristics of the floor to ensure the institutional development of the transport sector, including for certain types of transport. Methods. The study is based on the dialectical method of knowledge and systematic approach. Basic scientific results were obtained using the special method of research ‒ his-torical and abstract logical analysis (to determine the basic institutional regulation of the transport sector). Results. It was determined relationship between the development of the transport industry and general economic development. The identification of the main stages of insti-tutional regulation of the transport industry was made. The management problems of the transport industry were determined. Scientific novelty. Identification of the main stages of the transport sector institu-tional regulation was improved: phase 1 (1990-1980) – preparatory phase (development of the transport sector for all modes of transport (road, rail, air, sea and inland waterway) and at all levels (international, national, regional and local) in most countries was provid-ed by the public sector); phase 2 (1980-1990) – stage of economic deregulation (reform of national transport systems to their global integration); phase 3 (1990 – present) – the modern (strengthening of interaction between different modes of transport in the conditions of formation of a single transport space), allowing to determine the continuity of the policies and directions of further development. Practical value. Theoretical and methodological provisions, conclusions and rec-ommendations of the paper can be used for improvement of the transport policy of Ukraine.
