Abstract

Objective. Is an analysis of existing approaches to understanding the essence of the concept of the «tourism services market», its definition elaboration, establish the nature of supply and demand of the tourism services market, and characterize travel service as the object of the tourism services market, elaboration the classification of the tourism services market participants. Methods. The methods of theoretical generalization and comparison, systematic ap-proach, system analysis used in the article. Results. The research conducted made it possible to reveal the core of the concept of «tourism service market», and the author made its own definition of it. Alongside supply and demand at that market were analyzed. It was found out that demand there has change-able character, whereas supply is constant. The concept of “ tourism service» was charac-terized as the main object of travelling sevices. The participants of the tourism services market were classified. Scientific novelty. The definition of the tourism services market core has been speci-fied. It is proposed to perceive it as a socio-economic phenomenon, associated with the complete range of travel services to meet the spiritual, physical and other non-commercial purposes.The practical value. The results contribute to further research of categorical appa-ratus of the concept of «tourism services market».
