Abstract
176 patients with inguinal hernias were enrolled in study. The operation time of I.L. Lichtenstein hernioplasty repair (CCG) was 51.3 (±13.4) minutes. Repair with the use of CS-plasty (BG) lasted for 38.2 (±12.2) minutes. Early sequelae occurred neither in BG nor in CCG. Treatment results are available for 84 BG patients and 85 CCG patients for the period from 12 months to 2 years. There were no delayed sequelae in BG. Chronic pain was marked twice in CCG. No recurrences occurred in both groups during the observed period.
