Abstract
The seating arrangement determining success in the implementation of Curriculum 2013 learning model. This study aimed to compare class seating arrangement based on McCroskey model on scientific learning in Vocational High School that includes traditional model, horseshoe, and modular arrangement. This study uses a mixed method approach. The research population is students of SMK Negeri 2 Wonosari. The research sample used is the class X and XI with the number of 90 students. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis techniques in this study using descriptive statistics. The results showed that (1) The form of modular (group) has the highest quality in terms of motivation to learn with the percentage of 68.7% and fleksibility amounted 66.93% , the form of a "U" (horsehoe) has the highest quality in visibility that is equal to 71.37%, and the form line / traditionally had percentages below them; (2) The active participation of the most prominent learning is a modular form with a dominant activity visual, oral, listening, writing, drawing, motorcycles, mental, and emotional; and (3) There are differences between the form line, the form a "U" and a modular form are found in all aspects such as motivation, visibility, and fleksibility.
