Abstract
The sensor is part of the electronics technologies. In fact, sensor technology is widely used in various fields of life, including automotive. Even the development of automotive technology today leads to the use of sensors and actuators combined with the function of the electronic control unit (ECU). For most junior automotive learners, knowledge of the sensor is a new thing. Understanding of the fundamentals of a technology is absolutely necessary before proceeding to more complex discussion stage. For that it is necessary to the development of a method of learning about the sensors that are practical, efficient and close to the automotive technology so that junior automotive learners able to understand the basics of sensor quickly. This journal describes the research that has successfully developed the knock sensor experimental module. This sensor is one of important sensors in the automotive field. The method used is the method of Research and Development.
