THE EFFECT OF TPS WITH STAD TEACHING METHOD FOR LEARNING OUTCOMES IN SUBJECTS HEALTH AND SAFETY

Abstract

The study aimed at obtaining information about the differences between the learning outcomes of students who receive TPS cooperative learning methods to STAD. This study is an experimental research design with Control Group Pretest Posttest. Determination of the sample using random sampling techniques. Pretest results obtained using One Way Anova Fcalc = 0.185 Ftable = 3.08 to 0.95 odds with df = 2 numerator and denominator df = 104 proves there is a significant difference between the three classes after treatment. The results of t-test on the data posttest experimental class I and II obtained tcalc = -4.943 < ttable = 1.67 for Ɵ = 5% with df = 70. Conclusion The study is the result of student learning using STAD cooperative method is better than the results of cooperative learning methods TPS.
