PROSPECTS OF PROCESSING AND USE OF APPLE POMACE

This article shows the dynamics of production and yield of apples in Ukraine, from the analysis, which show that Ukraine has the best climatic conditions for the cultivation of apples throughout the country. Productivity and apple production is increasing every year. Apples are considered for the production of juices, purees, compotes, analyzed the chemical composition of apples, which shows the predominance of sugar, pectin, tannins, organic acids, minerals, vitamins. Listed by-products of processing apples, which are the pomace and purification, considered by-products in the production of apple juice, shows a diagram of the integrated use of by-products. Analyzed the chemical composition of apple pomace, which shows the predominance of fiber, nitrogen-free extractives, pectin, sugars, including fructose and glucose, tannins. Shows the chemical composition of dry apple pomace, which have a high content of crude protein, crude fiber, crude fat and nitrogen-free extractives. Upon drying and reduced moisture concentration increases solids. The technological methods of processing apple pomace, such as drying, followed by granulation, silage, pectin, biogas, production of apple concentrate, alcohol, vinegar, and the use of apple pomace in other sectors of the economy. The possibility of processing of apple pomace in the production of animal feed. Feeding of apple pomace flour enriched diet in trace elements, vitamins, has dietary, taste, stimulates digestion, enhances the absorption of all nutritious food. The possibility of using apple pomace in feeding farm animals such as pigs, young pigs and of pregnant and lactating ewes. Using apple pomace increases the efficiency of rearing pigs and receive economic effect on 1 head. Feeding dry apple pomace increases weight gain and increases the sheep wool clip.
