USE COMPLETE FEEDS IN SOWS FEEDING AT THE INTENSIVE PORK PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGIES

It has been established that sows physiological cycle at the intensive pork production technologies is 149 days, it includes 114 days for gestation period, 28 – for suckling period and sows are barren up to 7 days. During the production period sows are fed with 227 kg of complete feed for barren sows and for sows in the first gestation period and with 240 kg of unpelled complete feed for sows in the second gestation period and lactating sows. Sows feeding organization under the proposed scheme takes into account maximally the physiological characteristics of animals during the production cycle, ensures the rational use of complete feeds, creates the preconditions for manifestation of sows productivity caused genetically, for health preservation and long-term economical use. Practical use in sows feeding complete unpelled feeds during the production cycle provides a high performance of sows and offspring's quality. Sows fecundity contains 10 piglets and more with a minimum weight at birth not less than 1 kg The live weight of piglets at the age of 20 days is nearly 6 kg and in weaning period at the age of 28 days - 8 kg. The average daily gain of suckling piglets is 250 g. Totally sucking piglets are fed with 3,1 kg of complete pelleted or unpelled feed of pre-starter.
