Kop Bölgesi Hayvansal Üretimi Üzerindeki Finansal ve Pazarlama Risklerinin Tespiti

The purpose of this study is to determine the risks faced by farmers engaged in animal husbandry in KOP area (Konya Plain Project) and develop risk management strategies according to these risks. To reach the stated goal, data were gathered by asking survey questions to 400 farmers engaged in animal husbandry in cities in KOP area like Konya, Karaman, Niğde and Aksaray. As 5 surveys are considered invalid because of missing data, analyses have been made based on the data gathered from 395 surveys. In line with the analyses made; drought, illnesses and feed prices have been found to be the risks that farmers care most about. It has been determined that there is no correlation between these identified risks and the number of the animals owned by the farmers engaged in dairying whereas there is a negative correlation between the risk of feed prices the number of animals owned by the farmers engaged in sheep breeding.
