Abstract
The article presents information on the volumes of gaseous and solid pollutants emissions into the atmosphere by coal industry enterprises. The main volume of gaseous substances is represented by mine methane, the sources of which are mine ventilation. The use of methane, emitted into the atmosphere by the ventilation systems of mines, is a complex and unsolved practical problem. Other stationary sources of gaseous emissions are coal boiler plants, the coal washing plant dryers, aspiration systems and burning rock dumps. Solid particles are released into the atmosphere during coal extraction and washing technological processes. For the industrial emissions purification there is a wide range of methods, apparatus and devices, the use of which allows to significantly reduce the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. Taking into account the accumulated production experience and the results of scientific research, stationary sources emission cleaning technical means and a set of measures aimed at increasing the technical level of atmosphere protection at coal industry enterprises are proposed.
