Abstract
There are problems in art of Kira Muratova, particularly her perception of “the little man” that show the succession of this topic to classics of Russian literature. It also demonstrates the shift in her cinematograph, which develops from Russian cinema avant-garde. Meanwhile, “marginal” of Kira Muratoba is a new anthropological type. In some cases the author adopts motives of traditional culture and discourses of modern art, which help her build her own world of the story, mold the main character with her own vision. The analysis of the features of the concept of “marginal” in films of 2000s years reveals the mystery of the origin of the unique palette of means of expression, which bases on philosophical and artistic features of her conception.
