Abstract
The present article is devoted to the attribution and study of tapestry iconography from the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts collection of Le Clerc works produced in the second half of the 17th century and based on cartoons by the Lorraine artist Charles Poerson (1609–1667). In an effort to expand production and move into new markets, the owners of Brussels tapestry workshops sought to use the new series of works from the most famous Flemish and French painters for their sketches and cartoons.
