Diorama of Alexander Labas

In recent years art of the outstanding painter of the XX-th century Alexander Labas prompted a new wave of interest. Through the efforts of the Fund named after Labas, had place several successful exhibitions,in particular, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts. Had been published catalogs, memories of Labas, monograph about him by N. Semenova. But activities of Labas in panoramic diorama-art still remains uncharted. Meanwhile, work on the dioramas takes an important place in his biography, which were the subject of this article.
