Abstract
As we analyze the essentially distinct and diverse works of Salvador Dali and Georges Rouault, we reveal a certain remarkable albeit unquestionable aspect: both artists have made a tremendous impact on the history of XX century religious art and both of them represent its values and virtues, although by different means and in constant debate with each other.
