Abstract
The article is devoted to the activities of the Ryazan Soviet theatre. Before revolution theatre called Opera House. First post-revolutionary decade theatre tried to be in congruence with art requests. The article is focus on the of scenic art in the years of the Soviet Union. In particular, reviewed one of the most important aspects such as change of genres priorities and strict ideological control. In a history description of theatrical genres emphasis is on opera productions, tour of the best Moscow's theater groups which made great culture development in Russian province. In a conclusion of the article is history about the children's theater group “Young escapes”, which started up in Ryazan Soviet theatre, 1920.
