Catechesis — ​the subject of L. Tolstoy’s interest in his plot of the novel. devoted to the Decembrists

The article is focused on the interest of L. Tolstoy to the genre of catechesis. In the process of the considering of the novel about the Decembrists in 1870th the writer was interested in catechesis by Sergei Muraviev-Apostol. This document was read to uprising Chernigovsky regiment. Tolstoy appreciated the possibilities of the catechesis genre, doctrinal, and also demanded of the representatives of People's Liberation movement, secret political, esoteric societies. The preacher of his own ethics doctrine Tolstoy in the 1870th undertook the efforts to write his catechesis, repeatedly tried to realize the project in the different religios-philosophy treatises.
