VETERANS ORGANIZATION IN THE LIFE OF A MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

At present the Veterans Organization of the Medical University consists of 221 veterans and old people, among them 7 participants of the Great Patriotic War, 1 participant of the labor front, 2 persons awarded the medal “For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945”, 5 veterans of combat operations in Afghanistan, 11 veterans of the Armed Forces , 59 health workers. The main priorities of the Council of Veterans activities are social protection of veterans, involving them in public activities, military-patriotic and moral education of population, as well as mass cultural activities.
