Abstract
This article is aimed at examining the essence of relations between the government and business in the innovation sphere, as well as some problems in the mechanism of public-private partnership in the field of innovation. In harsh realities, the state is primarily needed to implement those projects in which private entrepreneurship is simply not interested, or can not independently pull without help.
