TOURİST – TOURİST INTERACTİON: AN EXPLORATORY RESEARCH ON THE PERSPECTİVE OF DOMESTİC TOURİSTS TOWARDS BRİTİSH TOURİSTS

The purpose of this exploratory research is to determine perspectives of domestic tourists towards British tourists. For this purpose, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 50 domestic tourists who were on holiday with British tourists in five star hotel in Didim in August 2011. As a result of the content analysis of the participants answers, domestic tourists were found to have disturbance caused by lifestyle and cultural differences of British tourists. However, politeness, good manners and self-care behavior issues are likable.
