The article covers O. Kompan's biography, outlines her life as a researcher. The author analyzes the structural documental groups of O. Kompan's personal archive, which were specificated as a result of the fond scientific processing. Particular attention is paid to the section "Scientific and Creative Materials" representing broad scientific interests of O. Kompan as a historian and a historiosopher. A group of documents "Materials of the Fond Creator Relatives", containing the researcher's husband documents, is of great interest. Her husband was a famous Ukrainian writer – Ivan Senchenko. Another noteworthy category is "Materials of other People" including the documents of the former political prisoners – Ukrainian scientists Pavlo Fedorenko (1880–1962) and Yevhen Stashevsky (1884–1938)
