Abstract
The article presents the modern data on the influence of obesity on pregravid period, course of pregnancy. It was discussed the complications in different trimesters of pregnancy. In view of the existing complications during gestation in women suffering from obesity, there were marked anomalies of labor activity, pathological course of the postpartum period.
