Abstract
On a significant source base the article highlights the influence of the Ukrainian school of vitamins biochemistry on the formation of the famous Ukrainian and Uzbek biochemist, microbiologist, biotechnologist and science manager A. G. Khalmuradov (1939-1997). He was one of the most capable and favourite disciple of academician R. V. Chahovets, under his guidance the young researcher turned into a great scientist, continuator of the classical functional biochemistry traditions, established by A. V. Palladin and developed by R. V. Chahovets, one of the Ukrainian school of molecular vitaminology founders. A. G. Khalmuradov prepared the whole pleiad of scientists and contributed the further development of biochemistry and microbiology in Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
