Abstract
The article describes English psychological terminology, defines some problems of the origin of English psychological terms. It is shown that the vast majority of terms originate from the ancient Greek and Latin languages, the French and German borrowings and calculi are quite common. An analysis of psychological neologisms in the English-speaking psychological vocabulary, as can be conventionally divided into groups of psychological neologisms, consists of names that reflect the key concepts of modern psychological concepts and theories, names of new psychological methods and technologies, psychological qualities-neologisms. The study analyzed key eponyms of English psychological terminology.
