Based on the analysis of statistics of Donetsk region and Ukraine in the article the modern condition and problems socially-economic development of the territories of Donetsk region; characterized a number of problems in areas such as socio-political, economic, social, informational, environmental, security; the ways of strategic planning of development of territories taking into account the priorities and principles of sustainable development.
