Abstract
This article is devoted to study of pragmatic adaptation of the translation of literary text, based on the story of Lao She “Cats' town notes”. Pragmatic adaptation in translation in the linguistic literature is one of the problems with pragmatic aspects of translation, among which the issue of transfer of pragmatic meanings of words of the original, and interpretation of the pragmatic aspect of translation as the task of determining the translation act. Pragmatics is a field of research in linguistics and semiotics. He is studying the functioning of linguistic signs in speech. One of the most important parts of every communication, including between members of different language groups is the implementation of pragmatic influence on the recipient
