THE STAGES OF BUILDING OF EPP COMPETENCE IN ORAL ACADEMIC COMMUNICATION OF PERSPECTIVE MARKETERS BASED ON PRESENTATION

Abstract
The article deals with the problem of study the stages of building of English for Professional Purposes competence in oral academic communication of perspective marketers based on presentation. The definition of “presentation” is given. The classification of kinds and types of presentations is analyzed. The kinds and types of presentations used in the occupational activity of marketers are defined. The most widespread kinds of the presentations which is done by marketers and can be implemented in the academic environment both supervised by the teacher and in the framework of self -study in the process of studying the learning courses “English for Professional Purposes” and “Business English” are scenario-based presentations, interactive and automatic presentations that are devoted to the findings of analytical research, namely to the future trends of goods and services, suggestions about their improvements, expansion of the range of goods and services, prospects of the enterprise, surveys of the customers about the quality of the goods and services, promotion and publicity, performance reports. The most widespread types of presentation in marketing are informative ones, namely financial forecasts, reports, advertising with the aim of providing the description of goods and services; stimulating ones, namely – presentation of the projects of research and development of goods and services, expansion of the range of goods and services, advertising with the aim of attracting the target group; persuasive presentations, namely promotions. It has been established that the main stages of building of English for Professional Purposes competence in oral academic communication of perspective marketers based on presentation are preparation stage and implementation stage of the presentation. The components of English for Professional Purposes competence in oral academic communication of perspective marketers are specified that are being built on the each defined stage of building of English for Professional Purposes competence in oral academic communication of perspective marketers based on presentation. On the preparation stage the new components of English for Professional Purposes competence in oral academic communication are being built and the acquired ones are being consolidated, namely declarative and procedural knowledge: lexical, grammar and phonetic skills, learning, organizational and intellectual abilities. On the implementation stage the speaking and compensational skills are being built and developed, the intellectual and organizational abilities are being advanced.
