Abstract
The article analyzed the theoretical and practical aspects of the training of social workers for future careers that are meaningful to promote the optimization of processes of formation and development of social work in Ukraine. Judging from the analysis of foreign experience it can be argued that the training of social workers in this country is carried out at a high level, and its effectiveness is controlled by the relevant authorities. In theory, learning is not separated from any practice, to which significantly more hours are allocated, rather than on absorbing theory. The author has determined that the essential conditions of entry to the specialty «social work» in France are: firstly, the presence of certain personal qualities as motivation, life experience, which are defined at a special examination; secondly, the degree of secondary education, which is proved by a Bachelor's diploma of a certain field or its equivalent diploma of vocational education; thirdly, the mature age of a future student. Preparation of a higher level also presupposes two or three years of professional experience with mandatory certification of an employer or social organization. All these conditions are intended to protect the areas of social work from professional incompetence. Much of the training of specialists is held in regional centers, institutes, schools with specialized training to work in the social sphere, which have long experience of social practice in the region, practicing different models, methods and forms of activity. The system of training of social workers in France is pass-through and is built on the following principles of education as: the principle of priority; transversality principle; the principle of social knowledge; modular principle of organization; modeling principle; principle of consciousness and activity. It has been established that the characteristic feature of the modern system of professional training in social work in France is close interaction between educational institutions, where the theoretical preparation is carried and businesses that are bases for practical training. This opens up opportunities for numerous experiments in the development of new forms of content and areas of continuing education. Thus, the training of social workers is based on the principle of alternating training where theoretical training periods alternate with periods of training in various schools, social services, organizations and institutions. Both components of the training of specialists in social work are carried out by a single curriculum, pursue a single purpose and are evaluated on the same criteria.
