PEDAGOGICAL SEARCH IN THE ECOLOGICAL EDUCATION IN JAPAN

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the analysis of the aspects of pedagogical search in the process of ecological education in Japan. It is noted that Japan is one of the countries with high achievements in the conservation of nature and the implementation of environmental education. The theoretical basis of ecological education studies disclosed in domestic and Japanese scientists, such as O.Abe, M.Goto, T.Endo, M.Inoue, M.Kimata, K.Kozawa, M.Ouchi, K.Nakayama, T.Yamagiwa etc. The purpose of the article is to consider the main aspects of teaching search in the process of ecological education in Japan. The specificity of the Japanese education system in the light of the national attitude toward nature has been clarified. The development of national concepts of the ecological education role in the creation of sustainable development society, the formation of a coherent personality of students is represented. Regulatory and legal support for the implementation of ecological education in the country has been traced. Pedagogical positions of students' personality formation have been mentioned in the article. The original national course of integrated education under the slogan "special school" has been analyzed. Since 2002, every primary school carried out its own program of integrated education in cooperation with the local community. Schools began to implement techniques such as collaborative learning of life guidelines in the environment of students from different classes, active involvement in the school activities for all students, group learning, and promoting of participation in educational process volunteer teachers and visiting teachers, school visitors. The feature of the educational sphere was that it close interacted with the professional sphere, absorbed the spirit of traditional morality, based on the values of teamwork, collegiality and social ethics. Reforms undertaken by the Government of Japan in the education sector after World War II, allowed to realize the hidden potential of working population. There was a significant increment of human and cultural capital by Japanese rethink of many Western ideas, education provided a high rate of social reproduction. Important objectives of implementation in the education system the ecological positions Japanese teachers determine as creating conditions for the full development of students' personality, personality development with respect to the long traditions of the human attitude towards nature, the formation of every child with the development of individual skills and preparation for the life in the surrounding environment and collective forms of social life.
