TEACHING OF «RECREATIONAL AEROBICS» DISCIPLINE FOR STUDENTS OF TERNOPIL NATIONAL PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY NAMED AFTER V.HNATUK IN CONDITIONS OF THE CREDIT-TRANSFER SYSTEM OF EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

Abstract
The author of the article has noted that the social-economic and political changes, taking place in a society, are not aside the national system of higher education. The ideas of the Bologna process remain topical, providing transition of education to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Physical education is also exposed to changes occurring in the Ukrainian higher school. The correction of the normative-programme, scientific-methodical and technological provision takes place. The content of the new curriculum is to support the students of different specialties with the necessary skills at the appropriate level to carry out their professional duties and at the same time to form the ability to perform proper and systematic motor activity. The description of the programme of the discipline «Recreational Aerobics» is provided in the article according to the credit transfer system of learning. The author of the article has defined the aim, objectives, structure, description and information amount of the discipline «Recreational Aerobics» (included to the list of sectional disciplines of the curriculum of the Ternopil National Pedagogical University named after V.Gnatyuk taking into account the requirements of the Bologna Declaration). The subject matter of the discipline has been clearly defined. It has been noted that according to the requirements of the programme, students are to know: anatomical and physiological, hygienic and psycho-pedagogical specificity of classes on recreational aerobics; methods of teaching and development of physical abilities in the process of training; means and methods of aerobics to form the healthy lifestyle based on the need for: the physical activity, performing of regular exercises on recreational aerobics, making use of hygiene and natural factors in order to improve rehabilitation and physical mastering of the body. During the classes students are to acquire skills to: perform technically correct the individual elements on different kinds of recreational aerobics; choose the means and methods of aerobics for the self-improvement of special and general physical performance. The article provides the distribution of points that students can receive during two-year training to successfully perform the tasks of theoretical and practical direction. The tasks to perform the independent work by students have been provided the criteria to assessment of activities have been defined.
