Abstract
Based on the studies of the theory and practice of education section analyzes the psychological and pedagogical aspects of the formation of universal moral values. Described methodological bases of problem of formation of universal moral values by operating a set of basic philosophical, pedagogical, ethical, and aesthetic ideas, manifested in major trends regarding interpretation of the essence of human values: anthropocentric, theocentric, socotrine. Identify several types of morality: morality Autonomous, morality heteronomic, morality is based on feelings, the moral reflex. In the course of scientific research established that the system of moral values formed the Ukrainians have long, taking into account such features of national mentality, as cordocentis, natural democracy, a tendency to introversion. On that basis for centuries, people have cultivated humanism and love to the native land, patriotism and civic duty, love of freedom and dedication to the struggle for independence. Clarified that morality performs cognitive, evaluative, educational functions, and its components are moral awareness, moral activity, moral attitude. The rules and principles of morality, moral ideals and feelings form a system of morality, which forms the basis of life position of the individual. Indicates three levels of moral education – high, medium, low. Describes the content, forms and means of moral education of younger students. Clarified that the main task of moral education is the formation of moral culture of the individual.
