MOTIVATION OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AS A DETERMINANT OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS OF CIVIL PROTECTION

Abstract
The authors emphasized that professional competence is an integrated feature of personality in view of its orientation and adaptation, the impact on themselves and others; ability to apply experience to new conditions; make adequate evaluation and reactions in different situations; act constructively and effectively; solve life problems; achieve high-quality results. The ways to motivate future specialist of civil protection are highlighted. The purpose of the article is to analyze features for professional development motivation of future specialist of civil protection in terms of higher education. Methods. Analysis, synthesis, comparison, systematization of scientific views regarding the features to motivate professional development of future specialist of civil protection as determinants of their professional competence. Results. The underlined aspects of of future specialist preparing of civil protection determine that achievement motivation is the main psychological mechanism, a prerequisite for the formation of professional competence. Originality. It is grounded that the activity / inactivity of future specialist of civil protection determined the dominance of impulsive or deliberately regulated motives in the overall system of requirements in terms of both curricular and extracurricular activity of the university. Conclusion. The essence of professional preparing of future specialist of civil protection is to form a system of knowledge and personal qualities needed for different functions of professional activity, and therefore – competance. Professional preparing of future specialists of civil protection should be focused on the formation of understanding of the need for independent choice and responsibility in taking decisions, solving problems and performing professional tasks.
