USE OF FAIRY TALES FOR THE FORMATION OF STUDENTS KNOWLEDGE ABOUT NATIVE LAND

Abstract

The article is devoted to analysis of the use of fairy tales as a means of teaching children of primary school age civic culture. This paper examines the impact of tale on the attitudes of students and possibilities of its application in work with children. Identify the efficiency of the educational potential formation of knowledge about the native land of younger students with tales. This paper considers the problem of enhancing the cognitive interest of younger students. Analyzed the tale, as a means of Patriotic education . In the elementary grades lay the Foundation of national consciousness of students, love of native land, their «homeland», is brought up Patriotic pride in the past and the present of Ukraine, love to the native language, formed, spiritually developed, creative, hard-working person. With tales of the child may explain a lot of phenomena, because the story is close to the thinking of the child. The article pointed out that the main pedagogical conditions of use of possibilities of tales in the environmental education of pupils of initial classes are: a fabulous selection of works with the use of different environmental situations that can be turned on dreamlike images of nature. Found that the use of the educational opportunities fairy tales affects the formation of certain values, of the ideal forms of civil culture, which is an important landmark in the development of personality. We confirmed that the tale is an effective tool in raising the level of ecological education and careful attitude to the nature of pupils in the classroom and in everyday life. Found out that the tale one of the most popular and favorite children's literary genres, because it is an entertaining story, and amazing characters, the tale opens the child to the world of human feelings and relationships, says kindness and justice, as well as introduce to culture, to people's experience, native language, forms of knowledge about native land. For the formation of ecological concepts, it is necessary to use a tale. With its help, we can environmentally to raise a child, teach them to respect nature. The research allowed to verify experimentally that the use of stories as tools is appropriate in the educational process and has a significant influence on the development of cognitive interest and motivation for teaching younger students. The conditions for the effective use of fairy tales in the educational process in primary school.
