Abstract
At the present stage of development of Ukrainian society upbringing of students and the formation of new principles of upbringing work in higher pedagogical educational institutions is an actual problem that requires urgent attention. In historical and pedagogical science there is not complex and systematic research of the management of upbringing work in higher pedagogical educational institutions of Ukraine. The purpose of article is to explore the genesis of normative-legal providing of the management of upbringing work in higher pedagogical educational institutions of Ukraine (the second half of XX – beginning of XXI century). Analysis of normative-legal documents and archival materials made it possible to define the stages of development of the management of upbringing work in higher pedagogical educational institutions of Ukraine (the second half of XX – beginning of XXI century): I stage (1958-1990) – the stage of formation of the management of upbringing work in high school in Ukraine; II stage (1991-2013) – the stage of reforming of the management of future teacher's upbringing in higher educational institutions of Ukraine; III stage (from 2014 to present) – the stage of stabilization of the management of upbringing work in higher pedagogical educational institutions of Ukraine. Nowadays all necessary normative-legal conditions for the implementation of the national education policy were created by state. However, the real condition of the management of higher pedagogical educational institutions reveals that the current level of the management of upbringing work in high school does not meet the requirements imposed by society. This happens because society has set new goals to higher education, but for achieving them representatives of the university management have no a clear, phased plan. The development of theoretical bases of the management of upbringing work in higher pedagogical educational institutions of Ukraine, which would meet the new transformation in education, are prospects for further research.
