FORMATION OF COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS OF NATURAL SPECIALITY

Abstract
The problems of forming of communicative competence of students of natural speciality are analyzed in the process of study of a foreign language are analized in the article. The author compares approaches of different scientists to this problem. Modern specialists must be able to read and understand foreign literature in speciality, to own sufficient skills and abilities to conduct discussions on actual themes, participate in conferences, to search necessary information in foreign printed and electronic sources. Formation of foreign communicative competence is systematized, the process of studying is logically built, when a student must participate in all types of speech activity (manner of speaking, reading, writing, listening). Communicative skills of students of natural speciality are formed by a teacher in situations that he specially creates and that are communicatively oriented. The process of forming of foreign communicative competence of students of natural speciality is presented in the article as a system that includes such aspects: general conditions of studies, principles and motivation of studies, structure actually communicative competense (components and types of competense); approaches and methods of studies. The complex of these knowledge, abilities and skills includes: knowledge of language means of commonunication and rules of operation by them; ability to apply language means in accordance with aims, time and spheres of communication, in accordance with social status of partner on a communication; ability to understand an utterance in important semantic blocks and pass information in the coherent argued utterances; knowledge of sociocultural specific of country, the language of which is studied, ability to build the language behavior in accordance with this specific; ability to analize and estimate the situations of communication and build the speech behavior, carry out control of the speech acts and acts of partners on a communication; ability to use own speech experience for identification of shortages in knowledge of foreign language; ability to set forth and ground a foreign language the own point of view on different professional questions.
