Abstract

Introduction. The financial profession in Ukraine, in the modern sense, is new enough. The development of new directions of financial market imposes more stringent requirements for the competence of professionals serving the industry. In this regard, the qualitative training of future financiers, is based on the requirements of normative documents and standards is one of the priorities of higher education. The basis of such training should be educational programs that take into account the requirements and wishes of all participants of educational process based on the competence of the campaign. Purpose − аnalysis of national and international regulations, formulating requirements to the employees of the financial sector to determine the requirements for their knowledge, practical skills and experience. Methods: theoretical analysis, system analysis, methodological analysis. Results. Characterized by the descriptors, approved by the National framework of qualifications that includes the following components: knowledge; skills; communication; autonomy and responsibility of employees of the financial sector. Discloses the concepts of skill level and specialisation of the qualification in accordance with ISCO-08 for the Finance profession. Requirements to level of education, abilities and skills of workers are examples of professions financiers, and functions that they must implement in the workplace. The result of the accomplished analysis of the identified professional activities financiers such as performing complex action for the implementation of quantitative, actuarial, accrual calculations, obtaining and compilation of statistics; decision of tasks on performing financial transactions in the field of insurance, banking, and the like. Originality. The article devoted to the place of master's education in finance in higher education system of modern Ukraine and the European Union. The analysis of the national laws and regulations, which include requirements for the Master competence level, was conducted. Publication includes the list of specialities whereunder higher education institutions in Ukraine are implementing Master's educational programs in financial field. Analysis of international regulations was conducted (International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED-11, ISCED-13), the International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO-08)) on the scientific field, direction and specialization of financial education, qualification and skill, criteria were identified. Author determined types of professions and titles of initial positions for candidates with master's level education in finance in accordance with the international classification of occupations. Also, the activities, which are suitable for performance by modern financier at the labor market, were identified as well as his scope of duties according to documents mentioned above. Conclusion. Graduates of training programs must be inherent competencies, formed in accordance with the requests of the representatives of the labour market, taking account of the requirements set out in a number of domestic and international documents, which are: the Law of Ukraine "On higher education"; the List of disciplines and specialties, which prepares applicants for higher education (2015); national qualifications framework (2011); classification of professions ДК003:2010; ISCO-08; ISCED-2011; ISCED-2013; the Handbook of qualifying characteristics of professions of employees. During the formation of educational master programs Finance domestic teachers need to take into account the requirements of the above national and international documents to ensure a high level of professional competence and competitiveness in the European labour market.
