Introduction. The game is an essential element in the education and training of preschool children. Children's game is the main activity that aims to develop social and communicative competence of preschool children. The child acquires the ability to communicate and interact with others and using various means of play to do that. Also in the game child train the ability to control their own behavior and the behavior of others and develop the ability to maintain a dialogue and listen partners, and so on. Purpose. The theoretical justification features of formation social and communicative competence of preschool children by means of the game. Results. Formation of social and communicative skills in today's society is an important component of the overall development of children under school age. It should be noted that the formation of social and communicative competence relies not only on the family. but the first social institution (preschool education) also helps child to form all personal qualities. The main objective of which is to create conditions for the full development of the child (developmental appropriate environment, forming friendly relations with peers, teacher educator skills).
