MIGRATION PROCESSES IN UKRAINE AND IN THE WORLD, THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE EDUCATIONAL AND EDUCATIVE PROBLEMS

Abstract

Introduction. The theses analyze the main documents of the legal framework governing the migration processes in Ukraine. Their significance and importance for the custody and educational teacher activity with the children of migrants was proven. In the article we are talking about migration as one of the consequences of the world globalization. For the educational scope this topic is of interest, since the teacher in the school have to work with different categories of children, including children of migrants. The purpose of the article is to describe the migration as a social phenomenon, to highlight its positive and negative consequences, to show the relationship to the educational problems. Results. Based on the analysis of the scientific literature the modern migration processes in Ukraine and worldwide are characterized. The essence of the phenomena of migration, immigration, their types were revealed. The four stages of this phenomenon were characterized: the first is the middle of the XIX-beginning of XX century; the second is the period between the two world wars; third is from the time of the end of the second world war and the mid 80-ies of XX century; the fourth is the modern stage – from the end of 80-ies of XX century until today. The positive and negative impacts of the migration processes in Ukraine are outlined, both at the level of the state, and at the level of a particular individual. The first one include: easing of the social tension, reducing of the level of unemployment; the inflow of substantial migration capital in Ukraine; improvement by the emigrants of their professional experience, increase in the level of qualification, the improvement of the financial situation; integration of Ukraine in the global labour market; the development of understanding between Ukrainians and other peoples of the world. The negative effects include: reduction in the number and population ageing; the destruction of families; workforce shortages; increase of the load on the able-bodied citizens; the growth of crime and social tension in the society; the spread of socially dangerous diseases; the formation of sustainable orientation on departure from the state in youth, whose parents work abroad, etc. The negativity of the influence of the absence of one or both of the spouses in family on the relations and parenting was proven. The article reveals the consequences of migration (both positive and negative) on the individual level separately taken. To the positive taken: improving of the material conditions; expanding horizons; joining the world culture. The negative is a heavy physical work abroad; harassment by the employers; the moral-psychological losses. Conclusion. The originality of the articles is that the migration processes, their consequences are examined in the relationship with the educational topics, require the pedagogical solutions.
