FORMATION OF THE CIVIL POSITION OF FUTURE PEDAGOGUES IN PERSONAL ACTIVITY

Abstract

Introduction. Nowadays, the issue of educating a specialist-highly-conscious citizen with an active life position is actualized. Pedagogical education is facing the problem of providing students with more freedom, which allows to form an active life position of youth in public life and plan their professional development. Purpose – to reveal the significance of the problem of forming an active civic position of future teachers, consider the process of extracurricular activities in the pedagogical process and identify the factors that determine peculiarities of the formation of this quality of a future specialist's personality. Results. There has been carried out an analysis of the conditions, which form a personality of a future teacher with an active civic position while studying in a pedagogical college; outlined the main indicators of his or her professional training. The basic competences of a future teacher according to the specified in the normative documents qualification level have been described. The analysis of the content and main directions of extra-curricular activities of an educational establishment have been analyzed, the role of civic activity within future teacher's professional activity, and the importance of extra-curricular activities of students in their further professional growth have been described. The features of planning and organizing extra-curricular activities of students in a pedagogical college in the framework of forming their active civic position have been outlined. Originality. For the first time, there have been determined the factors which define the effectiveness of the process of formation of an active civic position of future teachers in the process of professional training, there have been analyzed peculiarities of the organization of this process in a pedagogical college. Conclusion. The factors that determine the peculiarities of forming future specialist's civic position have been outlined, those are: peculiarities of the professional training of specialists in the educational sphere; age and individual characteristics of students; educational possibilities of a pedagogical educational institution, regarding the formation of future teacher's active social position in extracurricular work of a pedagogical college; civic position of the educational institution's teaching stuff. Considering this, it is worthwhile to ensure the development of methodological, theoretical and methodical principles for the training of teachers of new generation.
