SPECIFIC DESIGN DECISIONS OF MOSQUES OF THE SOUTHERN URALS IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE XIX CENTURY

The main designing schemes and space planning decisions of mosques buildings of the Southern Urals, peculiar to the first half of the XIX century are revealed and analyzed in the article. The extensive material of on-site investigations of monuments is given. Interesting layer of heritage of the region is defined. A large number of natural and archival materials, historical and literary sources is analyzed. The descriptions of the extant monuments are made.
