LEASING IN THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

The article explores the peculiarities of leasing services in the Republic of Belarus. It includes the definition of leasing and its types; analyzes the cons and pros of leasing in contrast to the alternative methods of attracting investment into the country's economy. The regulatory and legal framework for the conduct of leasing operations both in the dimension of international relations and at national level is also explored in this research. As a result it is concluded that leasing is an attractive tool for boosting companies' activity as well as for promotion of their products in the market.
