Abstract
Information and communication technologies (ICT) have eventually become an integral part of our life, having been applied to almost all of its aspects. Their use in educational process is very important and, beside it provides more intense learning, often helps increasing students' interest for the course. They are used not only for material transfer, but also for other purpose, such as control. However, educational programs for learning a foreign language of a profession in Montenegro do not provide the use of computers; instead as the primary means of learning they rather use textbooks and other written and printed means, and rarely audio records. Bearing in mind that education must keep pace with time, and the acquired knowledge be applied in practice, in this paper we want to show the results we obtained during the experimental use of ICT in teaching Russian as a foreign language in tourism profession at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management in Kotor, as well as all the advantages and disadvantages identified by us and all of the participants in the teaching process.
