ISSUES OF FORMING FUTURE FASHION DESIGNERS' PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE

The paper accentuates the necessity of increasing future fashion designers' knowledge level taking into account peculiarities of professional training. The level of basic and practical knowledge, skills and abilities of future fashion designers are defined. Measurement and analysis of indices of initial level of developed professional competence rely on quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of implementation of the methods for developing professional competence are represented. The dynamics of the levels of future fashion designers' developed professional competence after the experiment is analyzed. The effectiveness of implementation of the methods for developing professional competence is shown.
