INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT OF GEORESOURCES IN THE ARCTIC ZONE OF THE SAKHA REPUBLIC (YAKUTIA)

Problems of development of natural resources in the Arctic are considered in this article. Positive and negative factors of the regional development are highlighted here. Strong competitive factors include opening of the Northern Sea Route; construction the railway passing through the whole territory of the country's north-east; growing national economy's demand in the rich and highly liquid mineral and raw, fuel and energy and biological resources for both domestic market and international market. An innovative approach to solve transport and energy components of the problem is proposed by authors. Innovative perspective of socioeconomic development of the Arctic zone of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) is the possibility to organize the mining production at almost each area of the Arctic Circle.
