Abstract
Plexiform neurofibromas are extensive nerve sheath tumors that can become quite large in size. They occur in patients with neurofibromatosis type 1, and present as large soft tissue masses under the skin. Occasionally, these tumors can become malignant in 5 to 10 percent of cases. This is heralded by rapid growth and pain. They rarely metastasize(less than10 percent) and if it does, metastasis occurs in the lungs. We present one rare case of plexiform neurofibroma with malignant transformation and lung metastases that was admitted in our department
