Abstract
The article discusses certain aspects of work with phraseological units in the framework of teaching Russian as a foreign language. A more relevant for this area, extended understanding of phraseological expres- sions is used in this article. Certain quantitative and temporal parameters in the study of phraseology, correlated with certification levels, are proposed. The basis for conclusions was mainly the practical experience of the au- thor in teaching Russian to foreign students
