Abstract
Within the processes of teaching and learning, students acquire skills according to the standards proposed by international agencies such as UNESCO, which suggests that the teacher will encourage the use of technological resources. The subject of Universal History has been regarded as one of the least attractive curricular areas to learn, due to the traditional methods to teach it. Taking as a starting point this assertion, it was proposed to implement the mobile learning as an innovative, practical and functional element to promote competition of historical information management and socialization of knowledge in second grade students from public high schools in the cities of Mexico and Campeche. To implement an emerging technology, it is important a method of intervention that favors the creation of innovative learning environments. In this study, through the application of evaluation instruments deepened more on this topic, obtaining credible evidence showing that the use of mobile technology it is favorable to carry out formative processes, as well as enrich the learning and knowledge of students to address a specific theme of great interest to them.
