Teaching English in rhythmic form and traditional one to Iranian EFL learners: Which one will lead to better vocabulary retention?

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to compare teaching English in rhythmic form with traditional one on EFL learners vocabulary retention and to see whether there is any significant difference between them or not . To this end 40 pre ? university student in Shazand, Arak randomly were divided in to two groups (control and experimental). The researcher used of rhythmic teaching for experimental group while control group received traditional teaching. To obtain the result ten multi choice questions was administered to both groups. Data analysis was run and the results revealed that there is a noticeable difference between two kinds of teaching on learners’ vocabulary retention.
