The interaction between Iranian EFL learners' motivation, creativity and their English achievement scores

Abstract
The aim of this study was to examine whether psychological parameters of creativity and motivation play any significant role in Iranian EFL learners' achievement scores. To this end , under graduate participants (N=91) were asked to complete creativity (Torrance, 1990) and motivation (Attitude Motiuvation Test Battery) tests which were compared with their language achievement tests scores. The results showed that the creativity has a close relationship with the learners' performance, while there was no significant relkationship between motivation and students' performance. Also, there was an attempt to find out ifthere is any relationship between these two variables.
